Here are some of our favorite photos from the past few months. We hope you enjoy the photos.
All photos are from the Nikon D80 digital SLR and were processed in Lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop CS4.
White River Sunrise, near Mt Hood. This one is absolutely beautiful!
One Leaning Tree. Above White River, near Mt Hood.
Tamanawas Falls in Winter, again near Mt Hood. I converted to black and white since there was very little color anyway.
Scott and Angie at Ponzi Vineyards on a nice warm winter/spring day in Portland. Note - Angie has a short sleeve shirt on and she wasn't cold!
Opal Creek. The color of the water in this creek is amazing. Angie and Scott backpacked to Opal Creek in February. I will post more photos and a writeup of that trip when I get more time.
Elowah Falls in Winter. Columbia River Gorge.
Ponytail Falls in winter. Columbia River Gorge.
Salmon River Hike

Scott and Cami hiked the Salmon River Trail with Matt and Cirque in mid March. The hike was ~8 miles and gained ~1000 feet of elevation. The day started off with rain showers, but the sky cleared up as soon as we started hiking.
We hiked up to the Salmon River viewpoint and had lunch in the sun.

After lunch we were about to head back to the trailhead, but decided to do some exploring. We had heard that there are lots of waterfalls in this area, but hadn't seen any so far. After a few minutes of hiking in very rough terrain we stumbled across Frustration Falls. This is one of the most spectacular waterfalls we have ever seen. For more info about the waterfalls in the area check out this link
