Redwood National Park, California

The last stop during our California trip was Redwood National Park. We were blown away by the size and number of these huge trees. We did most of our hiking in Prairie Creek Redwood State Park in the southern section of the park. We also visited the Stout Memorial Grove in the Northern Section. Enjoy the photos.

Yosemite National Park, California

We spent 3 days in Yosemite National Park during our recent trip. Yosemite is an amazing place and photographs just don't do it justice. We enjoyed the reduced crowds of the fall season. We did several day hikes in the valley. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Star trails, Yosemite Valley. We watched the big wall climbers headlamps on El Cap from this location. It is amazing that people climb the nearly vertical rock face.

Pismo Beach, California Trip

Angie and I took a week long vacation at the end of October to visit Dad and Sigrun in Pismo Beach, California. We drove from Portland and really enjoyed our trip. Here are a few pictures from the Pismo Beach area. More posts from the trip will follow.
