Angie and I backpacked to Jefferson park on September 6th-7th with Matt, Jaclyn and Kurt. We started at the Whitewater trail head on the Northwest side of Mt Jefferson (4100 feet). We took the Whitewater trail ~5.5 miles up to Jefferson Park (5900 feet).
Here are some of the pictures from the trip.

A meadow near the entrance to Jefferson Park. The wildflowers were still blooming, but they are definitely past their peak.
There is actually still snow on the ground at about 5500 feet! We had an amazing year for snowfall this past winter.

The first lake we saw in Jefferson Park was Scout Lake.
We ended up camping at a site on the west end of Bays Lake. The site was great and had room for all three of our tents. The weather was very mild in the evening on Saturday, but at ~midnight the wind picked up and continued on until morning. The wind wasn't as strong as on McNeil Point earlier this summer, but it was definitely blowing.
